It appears McConnell has gotten commitment from Senator Shelly Moore Capito to vote for repeal

That means they would need John McCain and Mike Pence, as the tie-breaker, to vote to repeal the ACA (Obamacare).

That is their strategy as they head into the vote today.

It would be a big surprise if even one other Senator was to break ranks and vote not to repeal. No doubt, that would send Donald Trump into a tweeter-ranting rage.

The kicker is that this has little to do with healthcare and everything to do with Obama's legacy. Lives will come down to Dems winning big in the midterms so they can do a repair job and override a veto.

But with Trump's trip to WVA and with McConnell's decision to bring it up for a vote, one might assume that one of the three women that opposed it before had been persuaded to change her vote? I don't think it is Susan Collins or Lisa Murkowski?

I think they believe if they can get the votes to bring it to the floor, they will have the votes to repeal it.

8. It certainly brings it a step closer, but they'd be voting to put a bill on the floor that they have

Even in West Virginia, the 13,000 job loss would roughly equal coal employment - and health care is growing, while coal isn't coming back 2/
