Russian Lawyer Meeting - Understanding the logic ?

All the Trump players are saying they only talked about adoption.

Could it be possible that the Russian lawyer who was wanting the adoption
ban lifted - only went to them appealing on behalf of the "poor kids
who couldn't find a good home in the US", under the guise of dishing dirt.

It IS possible she talked about that a lot - thinking these schmucks had
no idea that the adoption ban (that her own country imposed) was a direct result of US sanctions
nor why the sanctions were imposed in the first place. That makes total
sense.

But, she would have had to mention the US sanctions at some point - because that was the only way the adoption ban would be lifted - if sanctions were as well.

Hard to explain why they took the meeting thinking it
was about info that would hurt Hillary. And NO WAY junior-in-law didn't know the stated purpose
of the meeting. Enough for Dingbat to proclaim he would have a big shitload of bad stuff about her that he would give the world on "next Monday." Sounds like it is possible that Junior ginned
up the meeting - telling Dingbat "we are going to have some great dirt"
and the Russian lawyer had nothing and Junior didn't tell Dingbat.

for them to tell if they were ever questioned, period. Deniable plausibility. I do suspect that Muller's investigation has already evidence to the contrary as the CIA/NSA/FBI etc. were probably onto the Russian cohorts communications/emails prior to meeting taking place.
