It's crazy time right now anyway, and he knows he's on borrowed time. His latest statements have been rather interesting and encouraging. Who knows what the future holds? Maybe he'll grow a conscience and turn against the evil that has infected the White House as his final stand? Makes for a good thought experiment at least...

It's who he's always been. People tend to forget it because he's done a great job of perpetuating the whole "maverick" myth, but anyone who thinks he's on our side in terms of policy is just kidding themselves.
