And, yes, it must be very very painful right now to be a career federal employee, especially for those in the various science and environmental agencies (EPA, Interior, NIH, NSF, NOAA/NASA, DOE, USDA), the intelligence agencies, Dept of Justice, State dept., Labor, Education, and Health and Human Services. Actually, DOD, too- can you imagine having to swallow orders from an insane and incompetent commander in chief? I realize that by now I've listed virtually every arm of the executive branch.
And then also the Governmental Ethics Office, and CBO.. pretty much anyone in the business of gathering facts and protecting the citizenry, the rule of law, and the constitution regardless of partisan politics.
Yet his approval rating today, after 7 months of this nightmare, is still 37%. Yes, that's low compared to other presidents, but if the country TRULY appreciated the depth and breadth of Trump's destruction, his approval rating by now should be no more than 5%-10% at the most (0 is probably impossible, because there are always crazies out there.)
Come on, fellow citizens, WAKE UP.
