Pence: "President Trump's accomplishments are nothing short of historic"

Mike Pence Cements His Trump Bromance With Gushing Love Letter
“President Trump’s accomplishments are nothing short of historic.”

In a piece published on Fox News’ website, Pence showered Trump with praise about his successful six months in office.

“President Trump’s accomplishments are nothing short of historic,” Pence wrote. “But as the president likes to say, at this White House that’s just what we call a good start.”

Pence then listed a number of promises the Trump administration had yet to deliver on, namely tax cuts.

“It is the greatest privilege of my life to serve as vice president to a president who is fighting every single day to restore an America of freedom, prosperity and opportunity for all,” he added.

Because in factual truth, the republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief, Comrade Casino, has accomplished doodley squat, unless you are a republican and consider treason against the USA to be some kind of accomplishment.

"...nothing short of historic..."

You could not be more correct, holier-than-thou Mike*, but NOT for the reasons you present, nor for the context. Never before have we had such a callous, craven and unqualified inhabitant of the Oval Office. Never before have we had a "pResident" that colluded with a hostile foreign power to gain the Presidency. And never before have we seen the out-and-out in your face corruption and self-serving behaviors exhibited by this "pResident" and his family of grifters.

Truly, nothing short of historic.

Can a President "Fire" a sitting Vice-President? One who may not Pardon an Impeached President?

I'm sure it's a hot topic around the WH food corral these days. In my mind's eye I can see Bannon, Trumpski, Ivanka, and Jarred all grabbing into the bucket-'o-fried-bird (The Marmalade Bloat slapping the second piece out of Bannon's greasy hand) and Trumpanov asking this very question with a full mouth of mashed potatoes while Ivanka and Jarred try to figure out how to eat corn-on-the-cob with the Lincoln silverware.

Like every authoritarian regime, propaganda and repeated lies become the working program. The Big Lie is the lie repeated 10,000x until it embeds itself in the public's consciousness. Of course, for this to work you need a public which has turned off (or never initiated) critical thinking skills and/or is ruled by equal parts fear/fantasy.

To us, Pence sounds like a lying fool. But to the True Believers he's playing the Heavenly Harp.

Sad!
