their tweets. So, why is this such a big deal. Do all these people "blocking" others not realize that they can still view their tweets?


And, yes, I do know about the twitter lawsuit re: Trump, but in general, why is blocking perceived to be such a big deal?

In fact, that they're official policy statements. So it's probably not legal to block anyone from seeing them (regardless of how much or little extra work is involved).

In addition, it violates Twitter's (seldom enforced) policy to block someone and then tweet about them, which Trump also does.
