This is puzzling
Why would anyone who is not a billionaire agree to work for this administration?
I read that this Scaramucci guy is a billionaire. It doesn't matter if he fucks up or shames himself. You can absorb a lot of fucking up and shame when you have more than a billion dollars at your disposal. (About that billion dollars - if you are earning 1% annually, or if your billion dollars portfolio grows 1% annually, at the end of the year you have another $10 million. Just sayin'.) Same with just about all the cabinet secretaries. And the lawyers? Sure, they're scum, but (apologies to lawyers here) that's pretty much a given when it comes to lawyers. And even if they're not scum, people assume they are anyway. And, when you need a lawyer, a pit bull with limited ethics is probably a good choice. Plus, at $5,000 or more an hour for the legal team, who gives a fuck what others think of you?
But anyone else? Is Huckabee independently wealthy? If not, I suppose she believes that she will be embraced by fox or any number of other rw entities, in the media or out. I imagine that's the only way these people would be prepared to shame themselves - that they will never be outside the fold. Megyn Kelly thought she'd be a hit in the non-fox world. Granted, she probably doesn't have to work another day in her life, but she's learning that those of us in the reality-based universe don't give a fuck what she has to say. Maybe she'll find a path, maybe not, but with the millions she's earning, what does she care?
