I Would Consider Any Lawyer Advising Trump On Pardoning That Knows That Trump....

and his team committed 'treason' - should be considered committing 'treason' themselves.

One would hope any of Trump's lawyers have the integrity to step down from defending him - it they realize that Trump and his team committed treason.

If you defend someone who commits murder, you are not committing murder. The law states everyone no matter what they have done has a right to council.

Everyone, guilty or not, is entitled to competent legal representation. That's how our system works.

Lawyers are no more guilty of treason for defending someone accused of treason than they are guilty of murder when they defend someone accused of murder. Providing competent legal defense IS the height of integrity - even, or perhaps especially, when you believe your client is guilty.

(I suspect Trump's demands go far beyond providing competent legal counsel, and that there might be very valid ethical reasons to resign having nothing to do with providing Trump with a competent defense. But that is not the suggestion that you made)

- he's entitled to competent defense. There is nothing shameful in providing it.

You must be aware of how many people on the right hold the exact same view about lawyers who defend people who are poor, have brown or black skin, and are charged with a crime, right?
