He could end the cost-sharing-reduction payments with an executive order. That money helps offset the costs for insurers in the exchanges. If he killed that, all the insurers would have to bail.

Benedict Donald has made that threat, but if the aca provides for those payments, can't insurance companies go to court if necessary to force the federal government to pay up?

Not sure if the law actually leaves that to executive discretion.

If Trump were to end the executive branch's funding of Obamacare's cost-sharing-reduction payments, a critical provision that helps offset costs for insurers, it would most likely lead to an exodus of insurers from the individual exchanges and skyrocketing costs for Americans in those markets, effectively causing the collapse of the law.

They poisoned the patient, and now they are screaming.

"We got to put the patient out of their misery, I told you so"

but they got caught trying to transfer the deed of the house to their wife,

now the tenants are going to court screaming.

If they just tried to kill the patient and not evict the tenants they might have got away with it
