The "Repeal-Now-Replace-Later"-strategy will backfire in 2018 for a very simple reason:

The Democrats do have multiple plans for an Obamacare-replacement. And they have the democratic votes for their own plans.

The Republicans have no plan. And not even enough republican votes to support their own sham of a plan. They have admitted that with "Repeal-Now-Replace-Later".

The Democrats will campaign in 2018 on a better healthcare-system. And they will rightfully point out that the Republicans have no ideas for a better healthcare-system. (Whatever happened to the beautiful healthcare that Trump campaigned on???)

With "Repeal-Now-Replace-Later", the Republicans have turned healthcare into a campaign-topic where they have nothing to show for.
