While paper ballots will ensure confidence in the election system longterm, I don't think it is going to improve our chances in the next few elections.
There are just too many ignorant, and often hateful, people in this country. I heard some white winger on NPR just a day or two ago saying something like, "I don't care if I lose my health insurance, I don't want any more government health programs for me or helping poor people." I think there are a lot of deplorable people like that in this country, more than we think or realized before the election.
I know people that voted for Trump who I still can't believe did.

Too bad we cannot unkill the innocent people killed by these tyrants though. Rest in peace. Effing losers all of them.
