(172 posts)with the beltway media.....as long as republican support is at a certain level everything is ok. Nixon had a majority of support among republican voters when he was forced to resign. The difference nowadays is that the rot in the republican party is complete. Its party first, country second. Congress is useless. It does not want to be a equal branch of government. Congress does not want an oversight role, especially in the house. The house hearings or lack of have been a joke. It cant be denied, there are no principles anymore. Right and wrong left town.
Number 15 is especially good since we now have both, a crook and a fool.
