No matter how they have tried to deny and hide the fact, the RNC was hacked. Nothing has ever come out from that. Every mention has been denied. Here and there it has been brought up. Never pursued any farther. I have been waiting for the full story. This could explain so much about why the Russians never released anything. Blackmail! Why do you think the republican leadership has refused and worked so hard to ignore any connection between trump and the Russians? I used to think it was pure greed and power. I'm not so sure anymore. What would they have discovered in that hack? Released would it have cost them not only the power and the money but possibly their freedom. Whatever was hidden at all costs has to stay hidden. Were they given a choice? If you play ball... you can get more power and more money and whatever else that your heart desires. BUT... if you don't! Blackmail seems to be putins 'tool' of choice. Blackmail is the only explanation to what we have been watching for months even before the election.

But his operation is not going to leak information to the public about anything they are looking at because that would only harm and impede the investigation and any possible prosecutions. If it happened they will find out, but we won't know unless/until they decide to release that information publicly.

I believe FBI said they hacked into older no longer used emails. A congressman mentioned it but changed his mind a while later. No one mentioned how much 'older' those emails were. What they found simply never released.
