GOP Taunts Hillary Clinton, Who Claps Back Hard
The Republican party is having a very hard time convincing America that its in everyones best interest to take healthcare away from millions of people so they can give billionaires a massive tax cut. Such a hard time, in fact, that they cant even convince themselves, even while on theyre on break feverishly trying to scare up votes. So, they turned the finger of accusation to old scapegoats, trying to take some of the heat off themselves. Who better to blame than the woman who won the national popular vote and was absolutely correct about Donald Trump? On Wednesday, the Republican National Committees main twitter account tweeted out what some poor Republican intern thought was a sharp shot across Clintons bow. And boy oh boy did it backfire.

The GOP twitter account accused prominent Democrats of criticizing their attempt at a plan without offering their own plan. The account tweeted this accusation at Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Joe Manchin (D-WV), Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Bill Clinton. Finally, it took the same shot at Hillary, asking, Wheres your plan, @HillaryClinton?
Link to tweet
Several hours later, Clinton responded, Right here. Includes radical provisions like how not to kick 23 mil ppl off their coverage. Feel free to run w/it. The tweet included a link to Clintons 2016 campaign platform calling for universal healthcare coverage
Thats going to leave a mark. Notice how the GOPs tweet, as of publication, had little over 1,000 shares, while Hillarys had over 59,000 shares. There should be a rule that whenever Hillary claps back that hard against Republicans, Paul Ryans Super PAC is required to cover the costs of express shipping a microphone to Clintons home just so that she can drop it.

(4,035 posts)Hillary Clinton had really well-thought out policies, policies she'd worked out with experts, not to mention taking into consideration the input of people the policy would directly affect. Remember the story of the differently abled Democratic volunteer, who tried to contact the candidate she supported in the primary with her insight, but was stone-walled by them, yet the Hillary campaign were eager to get her opinions based on personal experience to improve Hillary's policies for the differently abled?
The GOP still hasn't learned that Hillary is well-prepared, meticulous, and willing to listen to experts to craft the best policies for the nation. She would have made an incredibly good President.

(109 posts)I didn't trust her largely because of her foreign policy. But from what's happened since, from her way of handling the results of the election, for example, and from this tweet, I think it's quite possible that she not only would have leaped over Trump (the lowest bar imaginable), but she could possibly have been a truly great president on the order of FDR. She was showing a wonderful ability to grow and mature just as FDR did. He didn't come in with a liberal agenda. He was just a practical politician that wanted to help the country. He relied on his liberal brain trust, and Hillary had many very good people supporting her like that, not the least of whom was Bernie.

(9,771 posts)the Dems plan is the ACA. You know, the one you're spitefully trying to repeal after irresponsibly trying to block forever, and then maliciously trying to ruin after its adoption.
Work to improve the ACA and quit wasting our time with your WealthCare BS!
