I stopped by to see my parents earlier today, and my dad (who probably hasn't voted in the last 20+ years) told me that he renewed his voter registration because he was sick of all the "teabaggers" and because of all the money that the Koch brothers are spending.
"They might be buying votes" he said, "but they sure as hell aren't going to buy mine!"

But he would never vote for a Black man, or a woman. So I can usually get him to vote Democratic if a white man is running.
