. . . Conservatives stopped maturing around about 13-15. Witness Romney and his bullying ways. Witness Allan West. Witness pretty much any GOP congressperson and the way they speak. Witness the TeaHad. These people really have no concept or interest in conversing/working together like adults. They're still wanting to be the bully authoritarians they were in Junior High and their policies/mindsets reflect that. Mature adults cooperate to achieve a solution. Cowards compete against each other to get the highest bid for that solution. Immature idiots treat every aspect of life as if it were one big competition, and corporate America (which they pretty much run) practices this competitiveness hand over fist; Bill Gates wants SCHOOLS to practice competitiveness and stack ranking.
