____ In the first email sent from Goldstone to Trump, the music publicist explicitly told the elder Trump son that he was offering information to the Trump campaign that was part of Russia and its governments support for Mr. Trump.
The Crown prosecutor of Russia
offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father, Goldstone wrote. This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its governments support for Mr. Trump.
Trump Jr. did not question the appropriateness of getting information about Clinton from the Russian government, and replied, Thanks Rob, I appreciate it. He then offered to do a call first thing next week when he got back to New York after being on the campaign trail.
In a later email, Goldstone explicitly told Trump Jr. that a Russian government attorney was flying over from Moscow to meet him in Trump Tower on Thursday, June 9.
Trump Jr. then confirmed that he, brother-in-law Jared Kushner, and then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort would all meet with the attorney at Trump Tower... more

(65,492 posts)they can be trusted, because even if they were fake, the deliberate act of feeding fake documents *openly* to the press would itself reflect disastrously on Fredo et al.

(10,275 posts)These are clearly fake why are you putting this out?
If these are fake and you didn't know, where did they come from, and who created them?
Since these are fake, where are the REAL documents?
Are you really this stupid?
If yes, why are you advising the President?

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/03/rhona-graff-trump-conduit-236484
When longtime friends and associates of President Donald Trump want to reach him, they dont go directly to the White House. Instead, they call the woman whos been the gatekeeper at Trump Tower for a quarter century: Rhona Graff.
Since Trump took office in January, Graff has become a conduit for those who want to quietly offer advice, make personnel suggestions or get on the presidents calendar when hes at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The list includes investor Ken Langone and Hank Greenberg, the chairman & CEO of CV Starr whose assistant recently went to Graff about trying to set up a lunch with Trump, according to a person with knowledge of the call.

He's a pretty convincing guy, I think.
I wonder where she is today. She poses a huge risk to Trump and his merry band of miscreants. I suspect she knows all of the key people and information needed in this investigation. She is apparently Trump's conduit and go-between at Trump Tower, so she may have information Mueller needs.
Someone may have warned her, and she might be hard to find right now. However, I'm sure the media is out there looking to speak to her after that email stream was released. They know who she is.

This is such bull... if there was incriminating information about Hillary, it would have been leaked a LONG TIME AGO.
Clinton should not take the bait to respond at this time.

(10,069 posts)Look this way Trumpets, Russia was offering us dirt on crooked Hillary and we just had to meet to save the country from potential evil democrats.
This is nothing new. Throughout the campaign, Trump accused Hillary and the Clinton's of things Trump himself and the campaign were doing. Go after Hillary's Russian Uranium mine, the Clinton Foundations donations and quid pro quos, Bill's indiscretions, Chelseas finances. Every fucking time the media would turn their attention away from Trumps and his cabal's nefarious dealings...away from his collusion and changing of party anti-Russian platform, away from his foundation's poor record keeping/fines/abuses of funds, away from his own pussy grabbing and mysogenistic claims of the past, away from his kids financial misdeeds. So the media dug into everything Clinton, and they answered every fucking thing which got ALL of the media attention that her magnificent platform, speeches, and rallies did not. Trump's group just sat back and watched it happen, with help from Russia and micro-targeting.
This bullshit worked perfectly during the campaign. Will it still work? We shall see

(1,089 posts)I can't help but thinking, as others have here, that there's something else going on/some other motive for this other than "I'll get ahead of this and minimize it." What's this fucking moron going to do next? Release Daddy's tax returns to "show the public there's nothing to hide"?
If nothing else, the weak link in this family of clowns has been identified. This idiot seems to share Daddy's qualities of not listening to anyone, thinking he's the smartest guy in the room and that everyone will believe him because he's so smooth. Yet it also seems that, somehow, he's even dumber than Daddy.
Wow. Maybe the way to save our country is through the tiny little brain of Fredo Trump.

(633 posts)The language in the email chain and this posting that really stuck out to me was this:
"In the first email sent from Goldstone to Trump, the music publicist explicitly told the elder Trump son that he was offering information to the Trump campaign that was 'part of Russia and its governments support for Mr. Trump.'"
I think it's really odd that Jr. didn't write back and ask what Goldstone meant when Goldstone referred to the Russian government's support for Mr. Trump. It seems like the Russian government's support for Trump was already known otherwise I would expect there would have been some back and forth about that statement.
I will be amazed if the Trump regime is still in office at the end of this year.
