it's hard to prove and harder to prosecute?
For how many months were we talking collusion? How many investigations are going on to find out evidence of collusion?
And just today - they are saying it's hard to prove and harder to prosecute?
Come on - are they setting up a - Get Out Of Jail - card for Trump and his comrades?

(25,266 posts)the two talking points that are coming out today are:
1. collusion is hard to prove and harder to prosecute
and
2. this whole thing with Don Jr. is a 'nothing burger'

(13,903 posts)Collusion as it is being thrown around is short hand for whatever nasty little pies Trump and his lackeys have had their hands in.
Money laundering?
Treason?
Obstruction of Justice?
violations of the Hatch Act?
Lying during a fed investigation
Perjury (foreign contacts/security clearance)
High crimes and misdemeanors (impeachable offenses)
all of the above
Just a few of the things I have heard being bandied about.
We can all swear Donnie is guilty because the truth is he did this or that, but the only people who matter when it comes down to determining the truth are the investigators and the Congress and the jurors if any of this shakes out to fed or state court.
Going to have to be patient, see what shakes out.
