And FAR more extreme.

From 1984:

A top White House official acknowledged Monday that President Reagan sometimes dozed off at Cabinet meetings but said it had ''more to do with what's going on in the meeting than what time of day it is.''

''These meetings are sometimes boring, and I doze off, too,'' Michael Deaver, the deputy chief of staff, told NBC News.

The comment was made in an interview with NBC's Chris Wallace in connection with a televised profile of Mr. Reagan, who is 73 years old. Mr. Wallace said that ''even when he's working, officials have described a disengaged President'' who ''just accepts staff recommendations'' and sleeps in meetings from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.

Cheeto seems to be several years further around the bend than Reagan was at this stage in his presidency.

To say nothing of the fact that Reagan was a bonafide moderate compared to this medieval neofascist we have now.

Keeping him even kinda-sorta near the realm of normal must be the job of a number if people. I would love to know how many people are required to get him through his no-heavy-lifting days.

No way he gets himself dressed, fed, and vaguely aware of what he'll do next, not to mention accomplishing the all-important task of securing the critter on his head, without which he wouldn't feel properly groomed, all by himself.

And I don't think Ivanka and Jared are doing those tasks, either.

Or are you just too good to hang out and schmooze? Maybe they're just not your equals, your worship? Not worth your time (since they probably don't have big mob money to loan you, your sons, or your son-in-law? So they're a waste of time?

Bigger version of that photo shows groups of other dignitaries all busy, behind him, talking and schmoozing. Yet there His Lordship sits, all alone, waiting for whatever's supposed to happen next. And everybody else is busy chatting and fraternizing.

Whatsa matter, Donald? Nobody likes you? Or did somebody finally take your phone away and you're left, adrift, not knowing what to do with yourself?
