(34,136 posts)They would find buckets of tennis balls in their shrubs. For years they collected them and gave them to relatives and friends with dogs. There were never too many of them.
I need to ask my brother in law if he is collecting the tennis balls now that my Dad is gone and Mom isn't up to doing her own yard maintenance. I'll have to suggest that he donate them to the local animal shelter if he is.

(17,305 posts)The folks at the animal shelter will know which dogs will benefit from those tennis balls. Our German shepherd/English mastiff cross can split them wide open with a good chomp. He's more of a "Kong" toy kind of dog, although he has punctured those as well!
