Disability rights protesters arrested outside GOP senator's office

More than a dozen disability rights protesters were arrested outside Sen. Rob Portman's (R-Ohio) office on Friday, while gathering to oppose Senate Republican's healthcare bill.

According to multiple reports Friday, at least 15 people were arrested during the protests, after camping out in the senator's Cincinnati office for several hours. The protest drew around 50 people.

Video captured by those in attendance shows the arrests.

The protest was organized by the disability rights group ADAPT, which has been holding protests around the country to oppose the GOP health care bill and cuts to Medicaid.

Last month, a group of disability activists spent 24 hours in Sen. Cory Gardner's (R-Colo.) Denver office starting Tuesday to protest against the Senate GOP ObamaCare repeal bill.
