what is happening now is preparing the ground for what is to come. It is not the rabid Fox watchers that are the focus for these revelations and those yet to come, it is the Independents and the polls are already showing there has been a negative response to Romney on this issue.

As long as Romney refuses to release his previous returns, this will grow not shrink, imo.

The problem is that "the general public" gets tired of the same news over and over. That is why repukes get away with just ignoring real issues until the new diversion comes along. The news entertainment industry knows they have to keep it fresh otherwise the mob looses interest. My point was the MSM will try to shine the spotlight on something else. Maybe something that will put the Dems on the defense. That is what Rmoney is looking forward to. Maybe I was wrong to say they are happy about it, but I don't think they are too worried either, imo.

He abuses animals
His wife justifies his animal abuse
He likes firing people
He abuses people
He's a job destroyer/job offshorer
He abuses small businesses
His pampered wife was sued for fraud involving animal abuse
His pampered wife likes to see other mothers forced to work while raising their children
He's a tax avoider to the nth degree
He wants to fire the fire fighters...even as we experience record wild fires

Pick a topic, any topic...and he is a walking disaster for the GOP and, more importantly, for the country

which is what is happening now. It's 'defining' Romney in the minds of the key target group, the Independents, so when the REAL campaign begins in September/October the belief that Romney is untrustworthy, a tax evader, etc, is already in the minds of those who are not rabid right-wingers.

The repubs are NOT happy about it, they KNOW what happens when the opposition succeeds in defining their candidate in negative terms before the candidate can provide their own 'definition' of themselves.

Coming on the heels of a Wall Street-led recession and deficits fueled by tax cuts we never could afford, the GOP nominates a LBO debt pirate who pays capital gains rates when he's not avoiding taxes entirely.

A major political party in a sane country would have weeded this guy out a long time ago. Instead, he was the best they had to offer.
