The Repug Voter Supression Going On Around The Country - Why Don't The Dems......

mount a campaign to - physically take these disenfranchised voters in their districts - and get them the proper ID's needed for them to vote?

I know it involves some major shuttling around of people - but isn't that a way to beat the Repugs at their own game?

in addition to basic informing the voters. And how, actually, identify 'these disenfranchised voters?'

on the moon - we surely can figure out a way to organize such a program and identify these disenfranchised voters. Seems like the Repugs have ways of indentifying those they wish to disenfranchise.

You figure out how to do it, and inform DNC/OFA/POTUS/AG Holder.

take them to get the proper ID cards, proper registration, etc - to get them registered to vote based on the laws dictated by the State.

We need to beat the Repugs at their own game - and this is one way to do it without too much organization.

Come on DU'ers - we got to try something - we just can't bend over on this and let the Repugs screw us in the butt again.

7. You Know The Repugs Figured Out Ways To Disenfranchise Voters......

They create organizations like ALEC. We've heard people say - all politics is local - and the Repugs used that to win governorships and legislatures in many states and create roadblocks for Dems on the local and national levels from that strategic point.

It just seems like for the Dems - these types of things are too hard - too insurmountable - and therefore they don't even try.

What about Young Democrats organizations helping get people registered or ID'd? What about the local Dem organizations in each of these States mounting a campaign?

What about my idea of getting every caring Dem in each of these states just to take one person in and help them get their ID or get them registered?

Why is this soooooo difficult? Why do we give up even before trying?

We got a couple of months left to do this - or do we just roll over and let them screw us again?

9. Better idea: Mail in ballot assistance!

Instead of going to the trouble of screwing around with ID's, how about just taking mail-in ballots to Democrats and other progressives? A huge advantage is that we can wear our political buttons and whatnot. We can assist elderly voters in understanding how to fill out the form (though we can not TELL them who to vote for, which is a federal offense). Finally, we can help them put in in the envelope and send it for them. To me, THAT would not only make more sense, but we can actually keep track of whom we assist with mail in votes, knowing that they aren't going to make any mistake or be intimidated by GOP blackshirts asking for all the non-whites to show their papers.

In Texas, we are looking at using mail in ballots to combat these laws. In Texas there are conditions to the use of mail in or absentee ballots and so this method works best for voters over the age of 65.

HEY YOU!
Yes I Mean You!

Do you know where your voter registration card is?
Is It Current?
Does it match your drivers license or valid photo i.d?

If you cant answer "yes" to all three, then your right to vote is at risk.
You have about 2 months to get it fixed, or you wont be able to vote.
Seriously!

WE need cars, buses, and vans filled with disenfranchised voters to flood our local DMV offices and any other places to get id's made current. We need to think of the elderly who helped secure and fight for our right to vote and sacrificed a lot- to make our vote count. We need to get the first time voters out to get properly registered. This is not a time to have a "fuck it" or an "I dont know what to do" attitude, because there is an new asshole in town who is trying to get elected to become our next president. Donate your time, call your local campaign offices and find out what you can do to help-just dont discuss it, do the dam thing..... and help! Flood these mutha fuckin' offices out with the people who need the help and who count! We cant let these republicans surpress anyones right to vote. These republicans are counting on this so they can win! You all know this already. We cant allow these fucker's to rip a new butt hole in our asses, I'm sure that people have run out of Vaseline by now. Just think how raw our asses were when G.W.Bush was in office...hello!!!!!!!!!!!!
