Who would think recording a pro-military video in a gas chamber at Auschwitz is a good idea?

GOP Congressman Criticized For Auschwitz Gas Chamber Video

A GOP congressman is facing backlash from officials at the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum in Poland after posting a video of himself walking around inside an Auschwitz gas chamber and using the memorial as a “stage” to promote the U.S. military.

Museum officials spoke out against Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) on Twitter Tuesday, retweeting a story about the recent video from New Orleans Online and saying “there should be mournful silence” inside a former gas chamber.

“It’s not a stage,” officials said.

From his statements for the video at the article - he leaves that out

Also, what the fuck-all does the US military have to do with those camps? They did nothing about them.

Strange shit

It took US troops getting to those camps for that to happen. To ignore that FACT, is strange shit.

That was liberated by the Soviet army!!!

I believe all of the camps liberated by US forces were located in Germany. Auschwitz was located in Poland!

But when you consider the current love fest that the Republicans have for the Russians, I begin to understand why he chose Auschwitz-Birkenau, since that camp was liberated by Soviet troops, not Americans!!!

US forces liberated the Buchenwald concentration camp near Weimar, Germany, on April 11, 1945. They also liberated Dora-Mittelbau, Flossenbürg, Dachau, and Mauthausen. All of these camps were located in Germany!

Someone needs to ask Higgins which army he was promoting, really promoting???
