Bill Clinton had an agreement with North Korea

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agreed_Framework

Was not ideal, but it kept the crazy Kim family at bay. I think.

So here we have the "expert" of the "deal." Can't he get some kind of an agreement? Oh, I know, tweeting and belittling him feels so much better and, of course, provides instant gratification.

but, I suppose, we do not "let" others tell us what do do. This is not what makes America "great."

The man who says he has perfected the art of the deal cannot make a deal with the baby dictator.

The man who says he has perfected the art of the deal cannot make a deal with Putin that does not give away the store to the Russians.

The man who says he has perfected the art of the deal cannot get Congress to agree to a deal on repeal and replace.

He cannot get all fifty states to go along with his voter suppression panel.

He cannot get the media to fall down and worship him.

2 of them are a big deal in that part of the world.

Yet North Korea constantly provokes the US, which is half a world away.

"North Korea shares a border with three countries; China along the Amnok River, Russia along the Tumen River, and South Korea along the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). The Yellow Sea and the Korea Bay are off the west coast and the Sea of Japan (East Sea of Korea) is off the east coast."

Did we do something to them?

The agreement was laid out, and then the Republicans took over Congress 94 and didn't hold up their side of the bargain, causing North Korea to go nuclear.

From the article.

Some analysts believe North Korea agreed to the freeze primarily because of the U.S. agreement to phase out economic sanctions that had been in place since the Korean War. But because of congressional opposition, the U.S. failed to deliver on this part of the agreement.

as usual, Republicans choose bravado, short-term political gain, over doing the right thing.

Yes, all this is their fault

And the neocons belittling Clinton and the Democrats' efforts to maintain a stable relationship during Clinton's term.

Republicans piss in the water and then complain that it tastes like piss.
