With all the recent negative press Trump is drawing to his deathcare plan, I hear more people not only saying "we need national healthcare" or "we should all get healthcare like Canada" but "can't we have Medicare for everyone?" or "is there anyone working on a plan for national care?"

I do most of my agitation on FB now. Plus, DU is not NEARLY as "Underground" as it used to be. MUCH more of a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party than it was when I first appeared on the scene.
Part of the success of the forum I think. When DU took the lead on the Wisconsin uprising back in 2011, it put this forum on the map and drew the attention of the powers that be in the Dem party. They did what they always do and dragged it to the right.
