David Shuster Retweeted Donald J. Trump
In this case, humorless @cnn + others in MSM cable news should lighten up a bit. This is actually a funny retweet...a joke.

Yeah was a joke but jokes can say a lot about a man's character. Sad to see Shuster's joined the ranks of Trump apologists.

Trump KNOWS his "base," the 35% who are hanging on while his approval rating sinks. He KNOWS how they will respond to it.

There are more than a few responses along the lines of "That's what you can expect when you don't tell the truth."

I don't see anything cracking the 35% shell, except maybe losing their health care. That might wake a few of them up, but as we all know, when the body count starts adding up, Trump will simply blame Obama, and many of them will probably swallow that.

Especially considering how unstable they are and, more especially, how unstable their mindless followers are.

But since Trump is unstable, he wouldn't grasp that, nor would his supporters.

And it seems no one within the GOP circle-jerk is willing to help them either. They count on that instability.

I find Trump to be a sad, tragic figure. Truly pathetic man - and I could feel a modicum of pity for him if he wasn't holding so much power over other people.

As it stands, feeling pity for Trump is just another weapon he'd use against people. He has to be removed for the good of the country.

And you can bet there's more than one hair-trigger nutjob out there, for whom President Trump's remark about the media being the enemy of the people, coupled with Trump's stupid tweet this morning, will be all the justification they need. Remember how one of their number went and shot up a pizza joint on the strength of scurrilous rumors? You gotta figure there's a few of them out there right now plotting their attack based on a doctored video clip of a years-old scripted "fight" some feeble old man posted in a desperate bid to look tough.

This is only a joke if you're ten years old; not funny for a 71 year old man posing as POTUS. Lighten up? When some yahoo decides to shoot a Washington Reporter then what will Shuster say?

Oops. My bad.

The apologies for this nonsense are as outrageous as the Trumpster's insane neediness for attention. Combine this with the utterly vile video from the NRA last week, face and voice of Dana Loesch, and message is pretty damn clear: we have no respect or regard for anyone criticizing Our Dear Leader, the very one Cory Lewandowski has recently named:

"The Hemingway of Twitterland."

Lewandowski's comment is funny because it's so over-the-top and ludicrous.

This is not funny. It's demeaning and reckless and so below the dignity of the Office that David Shuster should be ashamed of himself. But maybe, he likes fart jokes, too. Maybe he can convince DT to do that as an encore. Get a real belly laugh because being an ignorant oaf is so amusing.
