(11,738 posts)Voter impersonation fraud is extremely rare. It is somewhat difficult, carries stiff penalties, and really doesn't do anything for elections because it is hard to do in numbers that would actually impact an election.
Trump isn't looking for that anyway, well actually Trump is because he is an insecure little man, but Kobach and his ilk aren't looking for voter impersonation fraud. They know it doesn't exist. They are looking for a better way to pull off the real fraud, which is voter suppression. Hundreds of thousands thrown off the rolls in states that go for Democrats. That is what they want to take national.

(4,439 posts)I do agree with you for the most part. They also want to make sure their part in the vote purging can't be traced back to them and want to destroy any possible connections. Go to youtube and check out Paul Weyrich at the Heritage Foundation dinner too. They'll do everything they can to keep people from voting.
