Donald Trump is not well By Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/donald-trump-is-not-well/2017/06/30/97759ee0-5d0f-11e7-9b7d-14576dc0f39d_story.html?tid=ss_tw-bottom&utm_term=.18ec90e0e9ea

The big finish:

....More significant is Mr. Trump’s continued mistreatment of women. It is disturbing that the president of the United States keeps up his unrelenting assault on women. From his menstruation musings about Megyn Kelly, to his fat-shaming treatment of a former Miss Universe, to his braggadocio claims about grabbing women’s genitalia, the 45th president is setting the poorest of standards for our children. We were heartened to hear a number of Republican lawmakers call out Mr. Trump for his offensive words and can only hope that the women who are closest to him will follow their examples. It would be the height of hypocrisy to claim the mantle of women’s empowerment while allowing a family member to continue such abusive conduct.

We have known Mr. Trump for more than a decade and have some fond memories of our relationship together. But that hasn’t stopped us from criticizing his abhorrent behavior or worrying about his fitness. During the height of the 2016 presidential campaign, Joe often listened to Trump staff members complain about their boss’s erratic behavior, including a top campaign official who was as close to the Republican candidate as anyone.

We, too, have noticed a change in his behavior over the past few years. Perhaps that is why we were neither shocked nor insulted by the president’s personal attack. The Donald Trump we knew before the campaign was a flawed character but one who still seemed capable of keeping his worst instincts in check.

"The Donald Trump we knew before the campaign was a flawed character but one who still seemed capable of keeping his worst instincts in check."

So they claim to have "known him" for "a decade" and claimed that he "seemed capable of keeping his worst instincts in check". Yet you have the 2005 Access Hollywood tape about his "pussy grabbing" and the snippets of his lecherous behavior at the beauty pageants he ran.

He is the media's creation and they continue to prop him up.

Mika gave Drumpf more fodder to attack her "looks" rather than keep her own personal decisions as her own regardless of what he thinks and move on.

And as usual, Schmoe had to mansplain and even admitted to writing the part at the end of the editorial about him putting the TV on Faux.

The President of the United States needs to pay attention to the information that he is being given by the department heads and turn the fucking TV off until he has carried out the work for the day.

Look, if it takes him attacking a "GOP friendly" pair of morning show anchors to get the right to clutch their gonads in fear and terror, fine with me.

"By any damn means necessary" at this stage of the game.

but oddly enough, Megyn Kelly gets more "kudos" in that regard than Mika. Mika has always been the "Gracie" in their "Burns and Allen" routine and is useless.

Whenever her father came on as a guest, he was always much more talkative and lucid than her.

Conventional wisdom, which is, of course, bullshit, said that "Once he becomes POTUS, he'll settle down and be more **presidential** and not talk like that...."

Mika is the first "bleeding woman" he's attempted to savage since his election. Sure, there have been other rude comments, but this was the first time he's crossed the line that makes even Republicans go "Ewwwwww."

Generally those who he has had some "relationship" with (whether business or close acquaintance, etc - and I'm sure his current and former wives as well), and most likely those who have attempted to prop him up in the past (meaning he considers them "needy&quot .

You won't see him touch someone who has attacked him as viciously as a Maxine Waters. Rather, he establishes a svengali relationship and then controls and manipulates by rewarding and punishing.

That said, whenever I do look at something it always seems to me like Scar treats Mika like shit,,

like some.. ok can I say this?....... no.. I won't........instead I'll say he treats her like some piece of furniture...talks over her, interrupts..... Of course it is HIS name on the show.

We're seeing the beginning of a substantial decline in Trump's mental and physical faculties, probably due to stress as well as age.

He's no longer merely a jerk in the the highest office of the land, he's a jerk who's losing his mind in the highest office of the land.

We'll all be better off if they take a nice long honeymoon and don't come back to work for about 30 years.

He doesn't see it as a normal person would. He is a narcissist sociopath and he thrives on the attention. He is a bully and immature and thrives on creating negative atmospheres. He is enjoying this and will never stop let alone think it is wrong in any way and nothing to deserve an apology of all things. This is a fight and he has always picked fights and his base elected and continues to support him for this reason.

who makes a living off his dad's reputation:

https://www.christiantoday.com/article/franklin.graham.donald.trump.is.a.changed.man.i.trust.him/100419.htm

"In an interview with Christian Today, Graham said there was "no question" that God had a hand in the election of Trump as the next President of the United States, and predicted a "huge impact" from his nominations to the Supreme Court.

<<snip>>
Graham said Trump is a "changed man" from when he made his notorious lewd comments about women. Though he made courting the evangelical vote a hallmark of his election campaign, Trump faced some calls to step down after a 2005 video recording surfaced in which he could be heard openly speaking about groping women and trying to seduce a married woman."

we are seeing is simply naive. Our species is likely fatally flawed (eventually) by its inability to learn from the past....basically, people do not change - they can modify behavior, but not change character.

This whole thing is playing out like a B grade movie.

That donnyboy is still president - he is the root cause - he is the cancer that must be removed - just continues to shock day by day, minute by minute. As they say, the fish rots from the head....his cabal - all of the gop pols - are rotten as well - but they are simply weak followers, and users.
