Ambassador Limousine hiring 150 drivers for RNC

Scott Henry was there bright and early Monday for a job interview with Ambassador Limousine and Sedan, which is hiring extra drivers for the week of the Republican National Convention.

The owner of a Tampa jewelry business, he said he heard about the job fair through a friend. He has a commercial driver's license and some experience as a chauffeur, so it seemed like a good opportunity to earn some extra money.

"Ambassador is a stellar outfit, and they've got a wonderful reputation," Henry said. "We'll see where it goes."

But Henry was one of only 16 applicants to show up for the interview session at the Hilton Carillon Park, prompting the limo service to set another job fair next week to find the extra hands.

Those Republics go nuts when they go to a convention. The m4m board on Craigslist was never busier than the last time they were here in DC and Dog knows what kind of perversities the rest of them indulge in.

If I were living there and didn't love animals, I'd open an all-night petting zoo and make a killing.

I'm going to mark my calendar for the rnc convention just so I can check out the Craigslist m4m ads. I don't even live in Florida, but the ads should be a hoot!
