I make my spouse's clothes. I see him nekkid. My spouse is a legitimate 6'3", with a Viking frame. Wide shoulders, dense bones, long torso. His ancestors survived to contribute to the gene pool because they managed to stay in the boat; if they got in the water, they'd sink. My spouse sinks in water, too. I sew for him because otherwise, there's no shopping for him. Nobody carries anything made for him. 36" inseams rarely come with 38" waists, but when they do, they come with far too much crotch depth, as if they expect him to wear his pants about an inch below his nipples. Long sleeves are 3/4 on him, short sleeves are cap, Tall shirts still won't stay tucked in, Big and Tall swamp him in fabric with too wide shoulder seams and too short sleeves. It's much easier to just FIT him. Then we only have one day of him pissing and moaning at me alone in the comfort of our own home, rather than several trips of him pissing and moaning in public, or weeks of it as we try shit on, send it back, try some more.

Spouse has some extra meat. We're working on that, but it's part genetic, part microbiome, part being over 40 and paying for the sins of his 20s and 30s. He's in the overweight category by immersion test, technically obese by height/weight (concrete bones and dense muscle, he has it).

Donnie Two Scoops? In that pic, he's carrying far more gut than my spouse, more pectoral and back fat. He's got his waist hiked up and belted, so his narrow point is above his navel. And he's at least 40 pounds/10 inches heavier today than in that pic, plus probably an inch shorter, because gravity is a harsh mistress that way.

If Two Scoops weighs what Dr Feelgood claimed, I will eat a yard of twill. And I am not fat shaming -- it's just another example of the Mango Mendacity's estrangement from reality or anything related to the truth.
