1. No conference committee--House will vote to adopt Senate bill exactly as written.

The question is whether they can get 3 no votes.

Heller from Nevada is one very likely no vote.

Need two more.

History shows that Cruz/Lee/Johnson/Paul will all fold, as their 'dissent' is theatrical.

2. This particular vote doesn't much matter.

Regardless, a few republican house and senate will get together, once again in secret, and hammer out something that will become law.

They simply can not do this.

The republican rank-and-file have been told to hate Obamacare and they were promised repeal. The rich donors were promised a repeal of the surtaxes.

They have to do this.

Phasing out things so the pain hits after they've all been re-elected is a very cynical but effective strategy.

I don't know what the final bill will be, but will pass something they can call Obamacare repeal and a big tax cut for the rich.

There will be theater, but there will be token changes and it will "much better" and it passes. And THOUSANDS will die because of it.

We'll know more after the CBO issues its analysis and hear from the GOOPers.

... for their vote.

If so, I hope it will help spur a Democratic uprising in the midterms.

So the bill will pass, and Trump will sign it like a trophy. He'll wave it around on his next victory tour
