I'm hearing on MSNBC that so far, sources say the Repubs don't have the votes for the HC bill.

Chuck Todd is checking on that, to try to get a handle. Of course, persuasion hasn't entered the picture yet.

Let's hope they don't have the votes. 51 is a low bar, but so far, they don't have it (of course it's possible that Republicans don't want to admit yet that they're going to vote for it, since it's unpopular; they need to come up with a reason for a yea vote to give their constituents).

Lots of skullduggery to be perpetrated in that time. Threats, cajoling, blackmailing. This is going to be one of those episodes where Republican evil will be on full display, not just against wavering Republicans, but against reachable Democrats.
