... he's a great gadfly in the Senate, but his "new ideas" are mostly re-cycled 1970's era socialist policies. They are not even up-to-date with the most successful social-democrat policies in use in Europe, especially Scandanavia.

The so-called progressives have really outdone themselves in recent years. Way to live up to all the stereotypes about how the far left is sexist and racist. I used to defend them. No more. Turns out to be sadly true.

It's hard taking loss after loss to a party that is
corporate and sociopathic to the core.

These kinds of losses -- the kind that harm and kill
millions of Americans -- make us look to leadership
for accountability.

There is nothing wrong with this; but we also have
to take responsibility ourselves.

We need to look these leaders in the eye and talk to
them, demanding answers and what they plan to do
to make our elections fair and honest again.

We need to take charge as part of our civic duty,
en masse, and never give up!

After all the Greens are nothing more than a front for the GOP's efforts to defeat Democrats.

I'm not at all for the nonsense about having Pelosi step down, but there are lots of examples in history where leadership took the fall for election loses and most of them were men. Stupid Newt is just an example.

GOP leadership is geared toward selling Demagoguery, hate and lack of empathy to the voters.

So yeah, when someone appears to be losing their skills at selling that they are generally discarded.

As Democrats we are not only the reverse of that we care about competence in governing and crafting policy. You can't just replace people with deep skills in all of those areas the way you can replace a huckster on the other side.

I'm only saying that old white men do get canned from leadership if they suffer loses. It has happened lots of times. Just because it has happened before doesn't mean we should do it now, but the only defense of Pelosi can't be "you're misogynists". Cut throat politics has a long history that isn't based on gender.

Wasn't ousting Dems from conservative seats all the rage back in 2010? It was a huge success, too. They dropped like flies and we're often replaced by Tea Party extremist. Then there was the census, and the subsequent gerrymandering. Ah, good times.

That's sure way to fix this country once and for all!
