Preidential and congressional races comments which infuriarate me

I have yet to hear that so and so candidate is running on his ideas or suggestions but apparently the only reason we hear why someone might win is because of the money they have! To me that is a slap in the face. It means that the candidates take for granted that the entire population is so ignorant (and they are not far off) that only money and phony or vicious advertising can win a vote! I'm sorry but im sure that there are many of us here who are capable of seeing through the bs and making up our own minds.
In short I resent being taken for a fool, as I'm sure many of you here do as well!
