(182,829 posts)I saw the article on google news. On my phone I could see a pic of someone riding a horse.
Trump, in casual clothes ???? Riding a horse???
I opened it up and saw that it was Reagan.
Trump is forever in a suit except when he's golfing and then he looks like a milkman - white on white. It's all thabout golf attire that's available he sticks with that.
And since we don't dare talk about the boy I have no comment on that.

(6,395 posts)If you notice, he's not wearing a tie. That's considered business casual in some companies/places.
Company I work for in So Cal, everyday is business casual unless you meet with clients, in it that case, you dress as the client does...which may very well be shorts and a t-shirt to a three piece suit, only time I ever dressed in dress shoes, pants, shirt and minus the tie...was when the Board of Directors were meeting on our floor. FYI, business casual for us is jeans and a polo shirt.... and were not allowed to wear sneakers or flip flops... but people about to retire do... but I wear hiking shoes as its easier on my back.... and I've been told by an HR rep that was acceptable. The executives almost always wear jeans...and when they don't its because they have to meet with others who still uphold the monkey suit.
Long story short, success doesn't equate to dress. I'm lucky, in the fact the company I work for embraces progressive values. It promotes LGBT, Women, etc. groups within the company, the CEO drives a Tesla, will sponsor employee's on the company dime to do volunteer work and will match donations to a point. And in my view, as an insurance company, we are ahead of the game in preparing for the eventual fact, with the advent of driver less vehicles and improved public transportation, auto premiums will be an eventual minor ledger item.

Trump actually has six bankruptcies.
Over the course of 18 years, Trump's companies went into reorganization six times five times in New Jersey, where he had his casino holdings, and once in New York:
Trump Taj Mahal Associates, Atlantic City casino 1991
Trump Castle Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City casino 1992
Trump Plaza Associates, Atlantic City casino 1992
Plaza Operating Partners, Manhattan hotel 1992
Trump Casino Holdings, Atlantic City casinos 2004
Trump Entertainment Resorts, Atlantic City casinos 2009
"It would be six separate bankruptcies," said bankruptcy lawyer Ted Connolly, author of "The Road Out of Debt: Bankruptcy and Other Solution to Your Financial Problems."

Of the 28 new laws signed by Trump, two name Veterans Affairs clinics in honor of people, one adds National Vietnam War Veterans Day to the list of days people and businesses are encouraged to fly American flags, five are related to personnel matters (including the waiver allowing James Mattis to become secretary of defense), and one extends an Obama-era policy allowing veterans in some circumstances to get health care outside of the VA system.
"Congress passes laws all the time, naming post offices after people, doing minor things that they can get through," said Leon Panetta, who served as defense secretary in the Obama administration and as chief of staff to President Bill Clinton. Panetta doesn't see any major legislation in this administration's first 100 days.
"Presidents throughout history are acknowledged as a success when they get legislation passed through the Congress major legislation that affects the lives of people. And that ultimately will be the test for this president," Panetta said.
<...>
Rounding out the 28 laws, three modify existing programs and two encourage agencies to try something new.
