13. Why should a president be chiming in?

If you've been in the military you know that operational accidents with multiple fatalities are a fairly routine event. With an armed force as large as we have there would be a presidential statement almost every week at least.

It's terrible what happened, but the system is designed to manage all aspects of the aftereffects pretty well.

Personally, I'd rather there be far less glorification of the warrior society and more homage paid to the worth of the everyday citizen.

17. I keep wondering when tRump is going to crash and burn...

maybe a health crisis, breakdown, or whatever you call it.

Everything points to an inevitable nexus, even before there is some impeachment or investigation result.

He is too emotional and has lived a largely insulated life. The support structure is breaking down, the pressure is increasing, and he's getting older.

tRump's attempts to vacation at Mar-a-largo, rely on family/friends, and build himself with rallies isn't working, so he resorting to fake praise (his cabinet), screaming at the TV, and he has called for Melania to come save him.

Right now, they are trying to keep Humpty Dumpty together, but it's a lost cause.

He is probably in hiding or being hidden, so he's not capable of reacting to the daily job of being President.

Desparate people do irrational things, and it's a national insanity that he's still Commander and Chief.
