Nixon Resigns; Ford Succeeds. That is the headline of an old newspaper I just dug out!

I went into my old footlocker and went through a couple of my boxes and found this old newspaper I had saved from Aug. 9, 1974 from The Philadelphia Inquirer (it was 15 cents). The print takes up 1/3 of the front page. I see my family tomorrow so I think I will bring it with me. I was only 12 and I remember I cried when Nixon cried. My mom said, "You'd cry for Hitler". When Nixon announced his resignation we were at a restaurant and everyone left their plates and went out to their cars to listen on their car radios.
