Obama Raises $71 Million In June, Far Less Than Romney

Obama Raises $71 Million In June, Far Less Than Romney

Obama For America and associated Democratic committees raised $71 million in June, far less than Romney’s $106 million haul. OFA announced their numbers in an e-mail to donors:

We just finished tabulating our fundraising totals for June: We raised $71 million against Romney and the Republicans’ $106 million.

I’ll spare you the cheerleading and just put this as clearly as I can:

If we lose this election, it will be because we didn’t close the gap enough when we had the chance.

Do something now, and please do whatever you can to get anyone else to as well:

Obama's money was spread about by almost 800,000 individual contributions. Unlike Romney. FarLeftFist Jul 2012 #2

I thought it was $2,500, but perhaps that is old info. After all, if the billionaires can give unlimited millions to their candidate, you'd think limits would be lifted from us ordinary working folks.

If Obama has more donors I think in a way that is more telling than the money. Obama will have more than enough to fight a vigourous campaign. Does anyone know how many donors Romney has comapred to Obama?

this money couple with our passion (something that Rmoney doesn't have...just ask Boehner) for getting the President elected will be enough to get us what we need!

And they are desperate. In my local TV market the anti-Obama and pro rMoney ads outnumber Obama's ads at least four to one. We can't let this slip away from us. I don't want to live through anything like 2000 - 2008 ever again.
