Man, it would suck if Steve Scalise was one of those losers who cannot afford health insurance, then my hard-earned-yet-stolen tax dollars would have to cover the ER bill for his wounding. Or perhaps the doctors would refuse to help him without assurances of payment, and then where would we be as a society?

If Mr. Scalise ever wakes up, I hope he sees how having health insurance not only protects the person covered, but also protects society as well...

1. I expect that the congressional Repugs learned only these 4 things:

1. There are mental ill left-wingers.
2. Members of Congress should carry assault rifles at all times.
3. Difficult to carry a rifle while playing baseball.
4. They need more protection from cops with assault rifles.

On insurance, I doubt they learned anything. How can they? The NRA and Koch Bros. think for them.
