Call congress.. tell them not to raise taxes on dividends

I count on that 92 cents that State Farm sends us every year, and the $18.26 from Metropolitan Life.

How will our family survive if taxes are raised for dividends..

I'm losing sleep over it, I tell ya,,

that is part of my grandmother's estate from 1999. My share is about $12.

My sister tried to close this account out years ago so they didn't have to bother sending the check, but there doesn't seem to be any way to do that, lol. So we get our money annually and I take myself out to a nice if modest lunch.

the REAs started during the New Deal. Might be interesting to find out when and why your grandmother acquired the interest in that REA. Maybe she was a secret (or not-so-secret) New Dealer???

The REA may even maintain historical records and archives, if you're so inclined.
