(4,483 posts)I don't know how to get to the original of the posted tweet. I want to enlarge the talking points--I can't read the tiny print and don't know how to enlarge it here, if that's even possible. I tried to copy the tweet to paste it in Write, but it won't copy.
Never mind--I figured it out. Click on it. Duh.

(10,033 posts)So much more important, and worth all the time and money spent, than investigating foreign involvement in our national elections, money laundering, and obstruction of justice by the sitting president.
Yeah, GOP, go with those talking points. Sad.

(82,849 posts)The Clintons had a cute little children's club ostensibly hosted by Socks, their cat. Socks would send out newsletters with little historical tidbits about the White House, an educational thing. One holiday season, everyone on the mailing list got a Christmas card from Socks. House Republicans launched an investigation into whether any public funds had been squandered on this. Twenty years later these same bastards see nothing wrong with the Third Lady maintaining separate living quarters from the President, or that the President spends a great hunk of his time patronizing his own properties and charging expenses back to the American people.

"Once U.S. President Donald Trump returns from his overseas trip, the White House plans to launch its most aggressive effort yet to push back against allegations involving Russia and his presidential campaign, tackling head-on a scandal that has threatened to consume his young presidency.
Trump's advisers are planning to establish a "war room" to combat mounting questions about communication between Russia and his presidential campaign before and after November's presidential election, while bringing new aides into the White House, administration officials and persons close to Trump told Reuters."....... (9,670 posts)Please do this more often.
It will allow our media to put your talking points on the screen while the Trump defenders gish gallop their way through an interview.
The host could then highlight the talking point on the screen while the defenders spew out their garbage, and point out to the audience that the entire argument was pre-conceived and distributed to right wing talking heads for organized dissemination.
It would certainly diminish their paper-thin arguments, and let Americans know that THIS IS ALL THEY'VE GOT.
