He claimed that he had never been told anything at all about the investigation. Never discussed it from day one.

his testimony:

Is that from the dossier or so-called dossier? I believe that's the report that Senator Franken hit me with when I was testifying--I think it’s been pretty substantially discredited

How does he know it has been discredited? Who told him? So he is either lying about not talking about the investigation or he is lying about the dossier being discredited.
