Fuck this we need to call a national general strike

this shit about Russia and trump and shit weasel goons keeps going round and round. The GOP in the House and Senate won't take it seriously until their corporate pimps start losing money.

Because at that point their corporate pimps will start caring about this stuff also.

So to me the solution to move this along is to call a national general strike and do it at intervals until something gets done

We must focus time, energy and money for 2018 to retake our country at every level, local, state and federal. If we don't, we deserve what is coming.

First, General Strikes are not part of the US political structure.

Second, take a walk this evening, and look at how many people are eating in a local restaurant, or shopping, or taking a walk in the park. They're not huddled over their phone or laptop watching repeats of the Senate hearing, or catching up on the latest headlines and blog posts. If you asked them about how they feel about Trump or the Russians, they'll tell you they care, but the reality is that they don't care ENOUGH. A percentage (not a majority) will come to a protest march, but they won't skip work or stop shopping to "send a message".
