"My (educated) guess is that during his visit to the White House on Monday, Ruddy heard that Trump was considering firing Mueller. Ruddy thought, rightly, that doing so would be an absolutely terrible political move. Rather than calling the President to tell him that, Ruddy took to a medium where he knew Trump would listen: TV."

It is a mystery that PBS News Hour or CNN would interview this tabloid CEO in the first place. The mainstream media is absorbing some of this tabloid, conspiracy-ridden excrement--for ratings?
I have the same question about NBC and Alex Jones.
Let's hope they are doing so to educate people in the hopes that people finally gain some semblance of information literacy.

(45,021 posts)The strategy is coordinated with many rightwing operatives pecking away at Mueller. Republican stink is all over this klutzed up deception.
He never has been.

(12,404 posts)came on. Good grief, does he live next door to a Krispy Kreme bakery?
I felt certain the girls would school him, but I could not watch. My husband just recently passed and my tolerance threshold is still very low.

1) If they don't fire him they now think it will show Trump as someone with restraint and that he isn't guilty of anything.
2) If they do fire him it will look like a deliberate and thought out decision.
We are talking about this guy, after all.

Please Note: This is a newsmax link. I have been told they are aggressive with their cookies. For transparency, the link goes to a long list of anti-Obama bullshit promoted at Newsmax.

(21,195 posts)The put nasty cookies on your browser that are hard to get rid of. On my old windows computer I had to run a virus scan 3 times to erase the virus cookie they put in. I kept getting all these right wing stuff and I even deleted all my cookies on my browser. Certain sites I will never go to like drudge, newsmax and breitbart because of the tracking cookies.

(30,481 posts)I made an edit to my post and put a disclaimer there. I personally haven't worried about cookies or a virus in years. Can't remember the last time I saw a pop-up. I pay more than I want to admit in order to protect my computers.
