Here are some talking points you should go over:

Don’t be afraid to tell your story. If health care reform has positively impacted your life, or if repeal would negatively impact your life – let your representative know. Personal stories are sometimes the most effective ways to influence policy.
The American people have already rejected the idea of repealing the Affordable Care Act, when House Republicans put forth a haphazard and dangerous plan that could have resulted in a loss of health insurance coverage for 23 million Americans. The latest Trumpcare proposal harms more American while still cutting taxes for the wealthiest of Americans.


The ACA prevents discrimination against people with pre-existing conditions like asthma, heart disease, or diabetes. Without the ACA, insurance companies are free to turn these people away or charge them discriminatory premiums. Any plan that doesn’t make essential health benefits and coverage for those with pre-existing conditions mandatory is absolutely non-negotiable.
Since the Affordable Care Act was signed in 2010, over 20 million previously uninsured Americans have gained health insurance. If the Republicans follow through with gutting the ACA, 23 million Americans could lose their health insurance.

If they could find an easier way to do that most important of all tasks, they would swing their wrecking ball in another direction instead. Admittedly, this has an added bonus, wreaking the black guy's legacy at the same time so there's the racist motivation too.
