Where Does All This Complete Madness Stop? What Is Going To Happen To This Country?

Even as we continue to resist one has to wonder how much damage can we prevent. The GOP is totally blind and deaf when it comes to what constituents want. Everything they want to do is very unpopular but they plan to deliver their policies anyway.

Republicans will hand him the match and lighter fluid to do so. I think that the messaging needs to become that Trump is the Anti-Christ and his supporters/enablers have already taken on the mark of the beast. If I could afford to I would pack up and leave without a second thought. The Republican Part is pure evil with no redeeming qualities what so ever.

It boggles the mind how they refuse to see who they've elected.
Though they saw Obama as an illegitimate demon instead of an honorable politician they had differences with.
It appears on the surface that we are reacting to Trump just as they did to Obama. But obviously there is no comparison.

Will Republicans ever gain perspective and intelligence again?
I doubt it.
I just hope they collapse and disappear from the earth.

Many saw the signs and left. You could leave if you could for a job or retirement or school or volunteer work in an NGO. It could be temporary for 4 years but may have to be permanent. You still can vote. You still have to file your US taxes. I know everyone can not do this. But some can.

It does not take a genius to foresee where this is all going to, the inevitable result will be second great depression (no, not recession this time). Rapid redistribution of wealth to the top and increasing poverty rates. Combined with unapologetically racist policies, of course.
I am psychologically preparing for the worst and it may take decades to get back to where we were before trump. Nobody leaves anywhere, we are the majority and we will fight. The era of political correctness is over so no. holding back. You support trump = racism and anti-americanism. Everyone was warned that it was the most consequential election in our lives. We don't negotiate with (domestic) terrorists.
