I think Benedict Donald will have mueller fired

I think the rumor in the media is a trial balloon to see if he can get away with it, and there won't be enough outrage at the rumor to deter him.

Moreover, the talk about sessions possibly getting fired supports this theory. Having recused himself, sessions can't get away with mueller himself, and rosenstein might not want to go down in history as the guy who pulls the trigger on the Saturday night massacre on steroids.

Donnie can fire sessions and replace him with some lackey who will fire mueller. I'm guessing Donnie didn't like sessions recusing himself from a role where he could have helped Donnie with the cover-up.

In the end, I don't see Donnie putting up with more investigation, and I don't see a mechanism to punish him enough to keep him from having mueller fired.

Congress won't impeach; even if we regain the house, the senate won't remove. Nor do I see congress resurrecting the independent counsel law, why would they ask for more investigations?

They've been promising to repeal it for 7 years, and the media has barely mentioned the tax cut for the rich aspect.

If they do repeal it, they'll dance from the rooftops.

The don't need or want any distraction for that.

Anyone working in the White House is going to seriously ask themselves - 'am I willing to be a deadender for Trump'... risking prison or worse... or 'do I bail out now while I still can'.
There's got to be some serious discussion and considering going on in their homes tonight.
