Just to be 100% clear: When President Obama brought the press in for cabinet meetings...

....there was never any sort of spectacle where he'd have everyone go around the room and they'd offer their praise of him, right?

As far as I remember, he'd bring the press in, make a brief statement himself, and then the press would leave and he'd go on with the cabinet meeting behind closed doors.

Am I right about this?

But, that wasn't even close to the weirdest part of the Cabinet meeting!

Once Trump finished touting his administration's accomplishments, he turned to several of his newly-minted Cabinet secretaries like Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue. Each of those Cabinet secretaries lavished praise on Trump, which he accepted without comment but with a broad smile.

At first, I thought Trump was just going to have the new members of the Cabinet spend a few minutes praising him. NOPE! It soon became clear that Trump planned to have every Cabinet member speak. And when I say "speak" what I really mean is "praise Trump for his accomplishments, his foresight, his just being awesome."

You think I am exaggerating. I am not. Here's what White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus said about Trump: "We thank you for the opportunity and blessing to serve your agenda."

It is remarkable to watch.

It is the end of America but it will be entertaining, until they start killing us, that is.

If the CEO of the company that you currently work for--or, if you're so fortunate, the company you own--comported themselves even ONCE the way that Donald Trump does EVERY SINGLE DAY, your company's Board of Directors (or you) would FIRE him. IMMEDIATELY.

WAIT That's not entirely true. Because given what we all knew about him prior to this election, your company would never, EVER have hired him in the first place.

That's why he sells his "brand" instead of actually runs a business where he has to be concerned about customers. It's a common problem with rentier-type businesses - many owners will set themselves up as mini-Kings, and use their businesses as their personal bank.
He's the owner - and other than the people who loan him money - there's no one he's beholden to act responsibly or ethically to, especially now that Daddy passed on. All he has to do is make them a sufficient profit and play celebrity to keep people talking about him and noticing him.

Why should he care about how he acts - he's a narcissist who was lucky enough to be born into the right family to have everything handed to him.

It is not.

The second, much bigger lie was pretending that Donald Trump knows how to run a company.

He does not. He never has. He NEVER would.
