http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/07/08/protesters-demonstrate-outside-of-koch-fund-raiser-for-romney/Some 200 protesters, according to local law enforcement officials, gathered Sunday near the residence of billionaire David Koch, who held a private fund-raiser attended by Mitt Romney at his home in Southampton.
The protesters, taking issue with the amount of money Koch and his brother Charles are likely to spend in the race, carried signs and beat drums as they marched along the water near Kochs residence and chanted, "Our elections aren't for sale," and "Whose beach? Our beach."
As they walked to the Koch residence, they passed the homes of fashion designer Calvin Klein and financier Leon Black. One group carried a large sign that read, "Romney has a Koch problem," while a plane flying overhead carried a banner with the same message.

"We're here because of David Koch and his vow to purchase a president, said Anthony Zenkus, with Occupy Wall Street, pointing to the large amount of money the Koch brothers are speculated to spend. It doesn't sound like democracy to me."

Billionaire Koch Comes Out Publicly For Romney With $50,000-A-Head Hamptons Party
http://www.forbes.com/sites/clareoconnor/2012/07/05/koch-brothers-dinner-mitt-romney-fundraiser-hamptons-david-koch/
Americas richest brothers Charles and David Koch generally like to wield their influence from behind closed doors. The conservative billionaire industrialists might be the most influential political donors in the country, but they work quietly, under the radar.
If theyve been giving millions towards a Republican victory this election cycle, as has been widely reported, theyve been doing so via nonprofits that dont disclose their benefactors, so theres no paper trail. Younger brother David founded right-leaning tax exempt group Americans for Prosperity, but theres no way of telling whether he or Charles are funding the outfit, which spends millions on anti-Obama ads in swing states.
Slowly, though, the Kochs are coming out of the shadows as the election draws nearer. This Sunday, David Koch and his wife Julia will host GOP contender Mitt Romney at their palatial summer home on sought-after Meadow Lane in Southampton, New York. This is the first time Koch has hosted an official Romney campaign event indeed, the first time either Koch has officially come out in support of the Governors campaign.
In the fall, the two were firmly behind Herman Cain as their candidate of choice. At an Americans for Prosperity Foundation event I attended in Washington, D.C., Cain called himself a Koch brother from another mother to wild applause. Since Cains campaign ended, the Kochs have remained mum on who theyd like to see in the White House.
